I think my boyfriend is addicted to over the counter medicine?

My boyfriend takes a mixture of 2 Tylenol, 2 Exedrin, 2 Motrin, and 4 Aspirin, and any of my Midol when I have it on me, 3 to 4 times a day he says helps his headaches/migraines which he gets from insomnia. He says the only downside is he gets acid reflux pretty bad from the pills but that's about it. He does a lot of college partying so I worry about the alcohol mixing with all this medicine too.

I didn't think that over the counter stuff could be addicting? Or if he even is addicted? Also I thought all of these medicines were really just sugar pills and did nothing. I don't know, I tried confronting him about it but he gets really moody when he doesn't take them, but that could just be headaches bothering him.

Is It Normal?

    The headaches etc could well be withdrawals. I'd be concerned about his health if I were you, but unfortunately there's no reasoning with an addict, all you can do is not supply him with anything any more

      id wager if this is true and chronic that the dudes got the liver of a 60 yearold alcoholic with hep c though

      and god help him if he does drink

        sudafeds a decongestant and dont give a buzz

        its a speed ingredient but hasta git processed first before itll git yall fucked up

        its useless as a recreational drug in its retail form

          I hate to give people ideas, but back in the 70's I knew people who got themselves VERY high on cold medication containing pseudo ephedrine when they couldn't get speed.

            most likely ephedrine and or dextromethorphan

            they banned the ephedrine long before sudafed cause it were real easy to process into speed

            theres still plentya dxm available

              You do realise that the "they" you're referring to could well be a different "they" in different countries? I'm talking about Australia.

              Are you saying sudafed is banned where you live? It's not banned here
