I think life is pointless. is it normal?

It's not that I don't appreciate my life, I do. It's just that no matter how great life is going, you will die and everything would be meaningless. If you fall in love, eventually they will die. If you have a family, they will die too. I feel like I am existing for no reason. I don't believe in an afterlife or a religion.

I have money, a nice house, etc... so it's not like I am struggling. I feel selfish for thinking this way because I know some people that would kill to be even half of my position. Is it normal?

    Why would something be meaningless just because it ends? Doesen't that make life that much more precious?

    Life may be pointless but death is very scary too. The fear of death is what keeps most people going.

    Life is what you make of it. If its pointless to you then its pointless. Maybe you should make peace with it or do something to give it meaning.

    Here is how I say it you live or you die you can't choose from life or dead every choice you make will create a alternate reality were you dike or you don't you eat that sandwich or you don't so you have no control over your life unless you want control over it

    Check out a book called "Man's Search for Meaning" by Viktor Frankl.

    The point of life is LIVING as fully as possible with whatever you have, which has nothing to do with money or a nice house. How about creativity, helping those less fortunate than you are, travel, contributing to the betterment of society in some way? Look beyond the material and you will find meaning.
