  • People hold many naive notions like this.

"The Pen is mightier than the Sword"

    "Actions speak louder than words"

    ^Derp.

But no, I didn't wash my clothes today because I was afraid of the Cleaner Monster. I didn't do it because I really wanted to play Skyrim.

    • I didn't clarify in the op I am referring to the type of laziness that prevents u from bettering your life not the type that prevents your apartment from being immaculately clean how is this a naive notion exactly behavioral acclimation is a good insight though thank you shackleford and nobleserpent your a deutsch because you play a video game that requires such a large investment of your time

      • *you're

What makes you think I'm German?

Anyway, Skyrim is awesome; I don't care if it takes up too much of my time. Shadow Warrior is so gravy :)

    • Oh yeah and actions without a doubt do speak louder than words only an ignorant person would disagree with a statement that holds as much truth as that

      • Well I'll give you the Benefit of the Doubt and assume you misunderstood me.

My point was to say that those two Phrases are accepted in society yet both contradict one another. It wasn't to say that both of them were wrong.
