Any foreign government, could indict you, could arrest you on treason charges, at any time, and could extradite you for prosecution, as long as a reciprocal extradition treaty exists between the U.S.A. and that foreign government.
Hint: Better find an Embassy of a foreign government that doesn't have any extradition treaty with the U.S.A., and ask for sanctuary (in exchange for information).
