I don't think it's your instinct to hate. Society is based on stereotypes because it's easier to assume things about groups of people than it is to get to know individuals. It's a safety mechanism. I am a black person and I am often a fantastic well mannered human being and other days I am an unenthusiastic depressed person. I think that's pretty true for every race. You're asking a question, so I think you care enough to try to see past race. As long as you remain inquisitive and you seek information over the easy answer you will continue to grow.
