    I've had a crush on my best girlfriend, but never asked her out because I didn't want to ruin our friendship. And when I was in the girls' locker room, I would often find myself staring at some of the other girls lustfully.

      Sometimes it happens. Try to explore your preference and feelings about girls and boys separately. If you still stare at girls "lustfully", go ahead a bit. Sooner you will get satisfactory answer.
