I feel ya, girl! I'm the exact same way! I feel like I'm more appealing to both genders when I wear a dress shirt, vest, and pants. Don't give in to the peer pressure! I personally consider gender identity separate from sexuality; I agree with you on that. If you find peer pressure particularly hard to deal with, wear androgynous clothes. However, the best thing is to be yourself!
Personal experience with peer pressure:
I am female. My female best friend, who identifies as bisexual, found a girlfriend. My other female best friend also identifies as bisexual. I subsequently tried to change my sexuality from straight to bisexual to 'fit in' with my friends. It didn't work, and I became depressed. The lesson here is: don't give in to peer pressure. It never does any good. Be yourself, no matter how embarrassing it is.
