This is really pathetic but when I was 15 I met a guy on myspace. Myspace was so new to me and I would accept anyone who wanted to be my friend. I think I fell in love with this guy. he was my only "boyfriend" ever. I live in Pa and he lived in Texas but a cousin of mine who lives in texas knew who he was so I contiued talking to him. We talked on the phone every night for at least 3 hours. After about a year and a half, he broke up with me and probably was sick of it. Im 19 now and I still constantly think about him and some occasions I look his myspace page just to see if he has a new picture up. Is this normal? What should I do!

    I think you should just start to view my facebook and myspace pix. Maybe you will find a new object of your desire. If I can work with you, let me know. I have done a great deal of work with unwed mothers.

    Quite normal, but also quite unhealthy.

    Life is too short to spend your youth hoping for something that just isn't gonna be.

    Move on with life and find a new love interest. He has.

    It's normal, but unfortunately, there is no remedy for it.
    My "first love" turned out to be gay. I loved him so much that I still did all the girlfriend things with him as friends. I only ended up hurting myself, and he ended up hating me in the end, every now and then I stalk his facebook or myspace, look through his pictures and have a little cry in the shower. and this was 5 years ago.
    "getting over it" isn't as important as you'd think. What is important is excepting whatever it is that you feel. Once you except it you'll be able to let some of it go.

      Thats uncalled for and insulting.

      I don't see what's wrong with what you are doing. You did have a relationship - why wouldn't you check in. And at some point you will let go.

      In the meantime, I hope you are circulating and dating with other guys in PA.
