I think his point is that you are unencumbered of sexual pursuits, so you don't need to spend 4-6 hours a day unproductively viewing porn on the internet.

Exactly. I'm the same way. Free thought is inevitable and cannot be legislated or prevented. That doesn't mean all free thought is good, though.
