Its just a buzzword that people see as BAD. Nazi, Racist, communist, these words have lost all their actual meaning because they're used just to villify things people don't like. Most people are dumb and see everything as black and white so its easy to attach negative words to things to manipulate people.
Are you saying XXX isn't a nazi/communist? What are you a nazi/communist too?
I remember seeing a video of an American student saying that Ben Shapiro is a Nazi and should be silenced. In fact, I'm fairly certain that quite a few sources have accused him of being a Nazi. Now, I'm not easily shocked by things, but I certainly was shocked at that. I can't even begin to understand how you get to such a level of ignorance that you would think it ok to call a devout Jewish person a Nazi. That's so fucked up. Call him a bigot, a sexist, a homophobe or whatever, if you really think that he is. Fine. Those are specific terms that you might be able to back up with some evidence. But Nazi? Seriously? It's just fucking embarrassing.
The culture of silencing people who's ideas you dont like is really scary. Youtube is getting worse and worse with what they'll allow you to say on there. First it was videos about Sandy hook and that Mandalay Bay shooter being false flag hoaxes. Now its basically any "conspiracy" viewpoint, and anyone who says covid lockdowns are bad. There were 8-9 hour livestreams on youtube of people walking around those Minneapolis riots, they all got completely scrubbed. But you can find plenty of news clips about it.
Let every flat earther and Holocaust denier say whatever they want. If their opinions actually hold no value, and they actually have nothing to say, it'll be easy enough to debunk them. It's a slippery slope, because all you have to do is call anyone who's questioning the official narrative of WWII a "Holocaust denier" and they automatically get silenced.
