Chantix is a dangerous drug. It shouldn't have been approved by the FDA. I have heard some real horror stories about it.
Being on it can definitely can change someone's behavior but withdrawing from it can also change behavior.
Just be happy you haven't felt an uncontrollable urge to commit some sort of violent action, that is a possible side effect of the drug.
