I think ants are assholes.

They crawl all over my house, walk around the place thinking their shit don't stink and they eat all my sugar and honey.

Is it normal?

        I used to pour boiling water on the ant colonie outside my old house XD Ants are a nuisance and they look really good on the bottom of my cowboy boots

      Yeah I agree.

      Their role in the ecosystem is to get squashed under my size 10 boot or have boiling water poured on their little asshole heads.

    Get some permethrin concentrate from a farm store, mix it on the strong side with water in a spray bottle and spray the ant trails. Try to find their entry points and spray there. Spray all around your baseboards. That will fix it.

    Careful if you have cats though, permethrin can be toxic to them.

        It'll probably take a lot of permethrin. There's much cheaper ways to kill a cat.

    Get an anteater or some liquid ant killer stuff. The best one is "Ant-Be-Gone". Don't buy the "Raid" product, most varieties of ants won't touch it.
    I live in a 120 yr. old building in the country and I have a bunch of unwelcome critters. It's just part of county living. Don't let it get to you. Fight back!
    Sometimes, yelling at them makes you feel better.

      Sometimes I do yell at them and give them an ultimatum. After that... I start squashing. They've backed off a bit now.

        The "Ant-Be-Gone" stuff really works. Put a few drops on a 2 or 3 small squares of aluminum foil and put them wherever you see ants. Check the bait regularly 'cause when the ants start to feed, they can clean it up fairly quickly. Soon, the bait won't be touched and you know you've made you're point.
        It takes a couple of weeks to kill the whole nest.
