Maybe this makes sense on the scale of a small community, but otherwise, fuck no. Imagine all the flaws of the public school system and foster care rolled into one. If you want to decrease the likelihood of child abuse going unnoticed, there are other routes to take other than ripping children away from their families. Also don't see how subjecting all children to one homogenized system from birth is doing anything to protect their rights. Who says the adult caretakers wouldn't abuse the kids? This happens in schools, daycares and orphanages a LOT. Gotta agree with Darkoil here: what a stupid fucking idea.
I think all children should be brought up in a commune.
