Telekinesis is technically possible, due to your brains' own magnetic feild. However the voltage/power of this is extremely low, so it takes effort and knowledge of how to apply it just to move a light nail a few thousands of a millimetre.
There have been reports and extensive tests concerning telekinesis, showing a positive correlation towards humans being able to minutely influence machines with their mind- regardless of time or place.
Other applications of telekinesis include subconcious control of seemingly random events, such as dropping your book and being able to open it at the right page, however this is disputable as simply being pot luck.
