Valenteer as much as you can. Do free internships. That way you do the actual work in that field and you can decide if that's something you want to continue doing. I got out of the military at 27years old and I still didn't know what I wanted to do. I always been intrigued about computers so I went to college for a degree in computer Information Systems but when I did an internship it bored me. I now have a baschelors in Computer Information Systems but I got a job as a Financial Analyst for the Federal Governmanet and I enjoy it.
