I start typing out answers to posts but usually stop and don't bother

I often start typing out a reply to posts then stop and think 'nobody wants to hear that' or 'who cares, somebody else will answer'. I do the same with texting, my friend will message me and I write about three detailed, thoughtful replies then delete them and put 'sure'.

    I'm the same way, except for on this site. I see so many terrible responses that I feel I have a duty to write something.. haha.

    Knowing that the op or the fun police are just going to vanish half your posts is hardly an incentive to make creative, amusing or even helpful content.
