I'm 37 years old and have only been out of prison for 3 years. When I was 17 years old I had been having thoughts and dreams of killing another boy at my school. He was bigger than me and would push myself and almost all the other kids in the school around. One night at a house party he hit a girl i knew and held her down and continued to hit her. I walked up to him from behind so he couldn't see me and I stabbed him with a pocket knife in his neck. He died and I spent the next 17 years of my life locked up. Some people have tried telling me i was justified in what I did, and I know God has forgiven me. However, I will never forgive myself and I think about what would have happened if I had seen someone about my dreams and thoughts of murder. It is NOT normal and nobody should want to kill another person.
