Not that weird, I loved laying on the ground when I was a kid. These days I'm too weirded out by what I might accidentally lay down on, but man, back in the day, one of my favorite things to do was to lay on ground and look at the sky. I liked the way the trees were so tall and the thought of the infinite space above me. It's weird if you start thinking about how you're sort of STUCK to the earth by gravity. Laying on the ground pondering shit is awesome, and you're missing out if you've never tried it.
...Kinda weird if you're out in public though and you get the random compulsion to lay down on the sidewalk. Keep it confined to your own yard, or people are going to think you're mental.
