I set my thermostat to anywhere between 65° and 68° f

This is where I feel most comfortable. I feel that the standard 72° F every place in my area seems to be is too warm, and I don't like my house that warm. My family is warm blooded like I am and likes their thermostat lower as well.

We're in Florida with a bunch of windows. That would be expensive af in the summer.

I wouldn't know. I live without a thermostat and just have to dress accordingly.

My thermostat is 70° in the summer, and 68° to 64° in the winter.

Different people have different temperature preferences: Normal.

My thermostat is currently to 74 (unless it has been changed) and it changes constantly.

      you so warm blooded

i hope thats a conservative summer ac settin not a hot blooded winter heater settin or ima be horrified

i also imagine the change you refer to is the actual temperature read and not the user variable settin or im further dissatisfied with the capricious nature of your household

It is indeed a summer setting.

There are five of us who are capable of reaching the thermostat, and four of us who are willing to change it if we find it gets too hot or too cold, so it changes constantly. It never goes below 72 or above 76, though.

My daughter once got hold of our instant read thermometer and started fucking around with the buttons. By the time I wrangled it off her she had switched it to Fahrenheit. I didn't have a clue how to change it back and it was fucking expensive so I didn't want to replace it.

It worked out well because it forced me to learn how to convert between the two.

That's really impressive. Did you have to practice much, or does it just come naturally?
