..and he had his arm around her. I'm not really a physically affectionate person, so this really made me jealous. Is this normal, or at least reasonable? Should I mention it, or let it slide? If I should mention it before it becomes an issue, how should I go about it? I admit that I'm naturally jealous, and I don't want to be, but I am.

Background: They're off together studying abroad for a year, so I check up on their pictures on myspace.

It's not that I think she's cheating on me, or that I don't trust her; it's more of the fact that, my friend is ALREADY getting to spend a year with her (they're together almost all the time since they're the only exchange students there), and it'll be months before I get to visit... so it sucks that they're physically close/intimate now.

    Sorry to say this but its true: a girl wont cheat to you untill...she has the chance to do it. One year is a real long time for being apart.

    You said you trust her, so don't worry. I see why you may be a bit jealous, but relax. Maybe this will help you be a little more affectionate whan you get to her. Remind her why she's with you :)

    Dude don't trip. I'm the same way. You can try mentioning it as a joke and play it off or hint you feel left out. But don't say anything straight up. Especially of you're not sure about it.

    Man that's tough. It really depends on how well you know your friend. If he is truly a best friend I would say don't worry about it. I mean it sounds like they are the only two people the other knows so of course they will be "closer". I'd just keep an eye on the pics and if they get to be anything more than just an arm around her I would say something. Hope it all works out dude.
