Well, that is a big mistake. You could have just taken it slowly with her. Did you even know if she was alright with you having your own space? It would have been nice to see her when you two had the chance and to be able to talk to her for support. Just tell her sorry and that you were not thinking clearly and made a spontaneous decision.
