She wants not only control of your power usage but every aspect of your life. Medical, housing, nutrition on and on and on. She wants this accomplished in a mobilisation effort akin to a war effort on a 10 year time line, oh and she has not given any details as to how to do it, or how to pay for it.
Is wanting to save the planet supposed to be a bad thing? Is wanting to make health care cheaper and better supposed to be a bad thing? We’re already getting fucked by insurance companies and we’re all fucking over the planet, she’s trying to stop all the fucking. The beautiful thing is, unlike the Trump tax cuts for the super rich that have caused the deficit to explode, her ideas basically pay for themselves.
No thanks honey. I'd rather move to Northern Europe and enjoy "socialism" and thriving economies, along with the best health care and educational systems in the world, not to mention the happiest people. If that sounds familiar, you're right, that's how things worked for decades in the US up through the 1970's. If only there was a way to find out what the marginal tax rates were then and how things were paid for...go find that out and report back to me.
But this is confusing, cause when you give the government the power to control things like healthcare they then have the right to know everything about your body, what you do with it, the value of it and etc.
So like when I see things “THOSE F-ING PATRIARCHAL (insert long winded insult to the legislators and whoever else) TO GET OUT OF OUR VAGINA’S”
I’m just like...but you asked them to?
Newly registered voter just trying to decide who to root for. Not saying your argument isn’t there or heard, just saying it doesn’t convince me.
...what? Why would you voluntarily give the government control just because your tax dollars are paying for it? I guess you could if you really wanted to, but that’s certainly not a requirement.
Anything that is valued, takes time, takes effort or is rare costs money. Anyone who offers you something for free is either lying or delusional. Nothing valued is free and anything that isn't valued costs money to be removed.
So, when you decide what way to vote, remember that those offering "free" things, really mean someone else is paying for it. You will be that someone else.
I don't know if you are being tongue in cheek candtlady. Socialism, in Venizuela is going well. For some reason there are a ton of Venezuelan fans oh Chaves and Muduro driving my Uber and Lyft's in the states. It is weird. They are making money. Creating wealth. Sending dollars back home.
I'd be more than happy to pay 70% of what I get paid over $10,000,000. That or, you know, reinvest it in my business and the community instead of hiding it overseas so my kids never have to work a day in their life. I for one don't need to fuck over everybody else to pad my bank account as much as possible.
I really want Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to run for president 2020

Easy to find. From 1932 to 1981 the highest rate never dipped below 63%. That's only federal mind you. The state's still want their "fair share".
If you're happy paying that start doing so. I for one prefer to keep more than 30-37% percent of what I earn.

A proper Republican will fix all of that
You made it sounds like a female version of Trump. 😂
