It's not a lack of trust in your partner it's a lack of trust in human nature. There are countless people who never dreamed of cheating yet found themselves in that situation later on, often this comes from spending a lot of alone time with someone. So why not simply remove the temptation?
I understand where youre going with this, but what's wrong with your statement is that it's unrealistic.
It's human nature to socialize, and befriend each other. Not only different opinions and perspectives help us grow as a person, it's also unavoidable given that there's billions of people in the world. We're bound to end up alone with someone, but with that rule in place, your partner will always be nervous and won't make friends easily.
Another thing is, there's always something that leads up to cheating. Cheating never happens over night (.... well, it can lol! But not my point). Just like a break up, cheating is can be cause by being unsatisfied in some way, poor communication, and more. If the relationship isn't strong, and stable enough to work their problems out, the end result will always turn out bad.
You didn't answer how it would work for bisexual people. Are they not to be alone with anyone, ever? Are gay people not allowed to be alone with their own gender, ever?
It IS a lack of trust in your partner. You're heading towards being a controlling and/or abusive partner, fyi. If not already.
Being a childish, jealous arsehole is far more likely to push someone to cheat.

start a relationship with him if you want and follow this one simple rule.
Make it a rule that he will never be alone with another girl and you will never be alone with another guy while you date.
This simple rule solves a lot of problems.

I don't see why I think that's reasonable and healthy. Removing people from temptation is often enough to prevent problems.

What's your solution to a bisexual person in a relationship? Or a gay person? Does your logic apply there, too?
If you can't trust someone to that degree, why be with them?
