I’ve got a similar issue, I’ve told my friend how I felt, they told me they were fine with that, but now I feel terrible, hoping I haven’t hurt their feelings. I constantly ponder on it, because they’re like a sibling to me.
You shouldn't ever feel guilty for rejecting someone, especially if it's someone who is physically attracted to you, but the feeling isn't mutual.
This. There's absolutely nothing wrong with rejecting anyone else for any reason. It's your choice and nobody should make you feel guilty about it.
