It's totally fine that there is no reciprocity of emotions over that matter. Just keep in mind that you should not hate him for feeling that way because emotions are very powerful. Just make him realize and understand your side, and his feelings will gradually subside.
There could be another way, I don't know the specifics of this particular situation, but don't take any chances if the person is starting to freak you out, or make you uncomfortable.

Hopefully, but some people are very obsessive, and persistent. Sometimes it's better to just sever the friendship.
