I really hate those new sonic commercials

The ones with the 2 guys were always annoying, I figure those were the same thing as Flo from progressive where the whole joke is that the commercial isn't funny. But I could kind of tolerate them.

The new ones with the southern girls sitting in the car are cringey, and now they have these ones with a couple and their kid sitting in the car that actually make me angry. Like the parents will say something dumb and the kid in the back seat comes in making annoying noises like kids tend to do when they're trying to be funny.

Kids acting that way in real life is just annoying, it isn't funny and it bothers all the people around them. So why do they need to show this on TV like its acceptable? This isn't like another "I hate kids" topic but its annoying to see kids yelling and making dumb noises like that, so why would they think it adds something to the commercial?

    I think it reflects their predominant demographic, Southern suburban families. The ads are kind of dumb but inoffensive, IMHO.

      Yeah I get that It's appealing to a certain group that I'm not a part of. The southern people are just bland and boring, the one with the obnoxious kid is actually kind of rage inducing

    Understandable. This reminded me that somebody actually invented the minions. And if a shit ton of demented people think they’re funny and cute. Then there’s no limit to the shit you will have to put up with
