Ever since I can remember, I've loved the feeling of duct tape on my mouth. The helplessness, the sounds I make, and the pain of it being ripped off after the adhesive has sat for a while. It all turns me on. I regularly walk around with my mouth taped shut under my mask. Why is this? I personally believe it's because my parents used to duct tape my mouth shut as a kid as punishment.

You had abusive parents, and childhood trauma can fuck us up in lots of ways.
As kinks go, this isn't that extreme, and the only possible problems I can see are the potential for embarrassment if someone sees the tape, and the small chance that you might vomit without any warning. Inhaling vomit is Very Bad Thing.
And then there's the small chance that you might be involved in some sort of accident where you end up unconscious with a nosebleed obstructing your nasal airway.
But I suppose all those risks are already at least at the back of your mind, and that's part of the reason you like doing this.
