    Your freaking out over maybe a four year difference? You do realize maybe not in this case but girls mature faster than boys and having a guy older than you is pretty normal my wife and I are Five years apart and before anyone says anything yes I have children.

      Nonsense. The only way girls "mature faster" is because they hit puberty faster. Plus the guy sounds like an asshole, not the sort of person a fourteen year old should risk dating. He could very well take her down a bad path in life.

      I understand the protective side of parents with their kids.

      But not all 17 year olds want to just get in the pants.

      Believe me though, I understand. But your daughter is old enough to date.
