  • That doesn't sound very scientific. It's not normal.

    Do you think that by simulating fights, your body will be triggered to release testosterone to help you beef up, and challenge other males?

    That's just a random guess. I'd advise you not to hit your head too hard, though. That can't be good for your brain.

    I sometimes hit myself in the head out of frustration, and I've ended up with slight, brief headaches for days or over a week.

      Yes, and to help me get women when I present myself as the alpha male, also I often do it before a set, so I get pumped up and hyped enough to lift more. I don't hit it that hard, and if it ever starts to bleed then I almost always stop.

      Did you find that when you hit your head you got pumped up afterwards?

      • I do it to clear my head, because of my issues with anxiety. I feel refreshed, but not pumped up.
