I play retro games to be more popular with my peers

Retro games are actually really boring but I try to pretend they're really fun because my friends think I'm interesting for having a unique interest that isn't actually interesting but really lame. I have a feeling they think the same way. We all have exactly the same thought patterns even though we express our uniqueness through imprinted clothing and interests in retro games and 80s music.

Doing things you don't like specifically because you think it makes you "unique" because nobody else likes to do them either is 100% hipster.

Yes, but this person wants to play retro games to fit in. He/she said that friends find him/her interesting. However, to have a hobby for the sake of fitting in is a damn normie.

Not sure what you mean by a normie. It takes a hipster to fit in with hipsters

I love older music but i prefer newer games and stuff. Classic rock is the best genre, fuck off if you disagree.
