Taking one's time to get to know someone well doesn't mean non-sexual. My current partner and I waited nearly three months, but now we have a healthy, active sex life. I just prefer to wait til I get to know someone, and I also don't want to let sex cloud my judgment as far as compatibility is concerned.
If you can't get past date number two maybe there's something that you are either doing or not doing that's turning them off, and it could very well be something of which you're entirely unaware. Are you talking a lot about the past? A date is neither a therapist's couch nor is it a confessional. I'm not actively trying to accuse you of anything, but sometimes when people have been through a lot emotionally they tend to open up too much and too quickly with perspective partners which could very well overwhelm and frighten off those perspective partners.
I need a girlfriend. Am I normal?
