    • As a black man trying to make it in this world, I hope it's not because they were black jokes.

      • No. Those have always been considered offensive. I'm talking about jokes that hardly anyone used to get offended at. Like jokes about cities for example.

    • Maybe what's really stopping you is you? Maybe you're afraid of offending people, because deep down inside you want people to like you, and you're afraid that if you offend people they won't like you?

Don't get me wrong, because it's not like I don't get offended, I do, but I don't walk around getting offended by every little thing.

Go to YouTube, and watch some comedy videos! Start off with some Dave Chappelle!

      • You don't walk around getting offended by every little thing, but there are people who do. I haven't figured out whose who yet.

If I'm out with a group of friends to dinner or whatever, and I tell the same jokes Dave Chappelle tells, I'm sure to offend someone in the group!
