If there's any advice I would offer it would be simply this: Take Pictures. Take a *lot* of pictures. Take pictures now.
I was shocked to learn, after she was gone when I was putting together photo albums how precious few pictures I have. 14 years of love and I have probably less than 200 pictures to show for it. I'm scrounging old pictures of friends and ex-gfs, looking to see if she is accidentally in the frame. I never even thought about it during her lifetime, but now she's gone, it's too late.
I miss my doggy.

I got my dog four years ago and I was 10. Now I look after her like a baby. And I'm really afraid of what will happen when my baby dies.
