I am so sorry for your loss. We just lost our beloved dog to cancer 2 months ago and I still cry about it (I'm a grown woman). If you're like me, maybe part of what you're crying about are the life milestones and events that took place while your dog was alive. Our pets are with us for a big chunk of our lives and during some momentous events (good and bad). They can sometimes be the only bright spot in some very dark times. I've had a really rough last two years and when our dog died, thought to myself, "what else can go wrong?". But life gets better, pain fades and good memories remain. Your doggie was lucky to have you.
I miss my doggy.
