Me and my best friend spent all day yesterday at school together, generally sitting with each other, and whenever I am not with him I miss him so much, to the point where it physically hurts in my chest. We are both guys and I am - shall we say - sexually attracted to women but I have never felt so much longing for them as I do for him. I do not feel sexually attracted to him.

This all really started after a school residential where we all started hugging one another. As an aside, he might be gay.

    That is real love, and you are not gay. I have the same all the time when I met new guys, or when old friends are very nice to me. I belive that this element in relationships between men, the thing is that make relationships between us stronger than steel. It is ampitty that society think it is something short of masculine, because it is very masculine to want to be friends and to like somone of the same gender than you.
