    If I want to masturbate during my period, I put in a tampon to keep things cleaner. Since that tends to mean no natural lube either, I'll use some lube. Fun times! I also use a tampon and have anal sex with my husband during my period.

    As sillygirl said, if you use a tampon, the whole vulva will be clean (but you'll have to apply lube). I usually get crazy-horny on my period so I am guilty of this too.
