    I call BULLSHIT!
    There is no way you are a veteran and so misinformed about firearms.
    AR 15's are perfectly legal to hunt with. Often used for varmints like fox & coyote. In some locals the .223 is considered UNDERPOWERED and insufficient enough to take down a deer and therefore illegal to use hunting deer. Nothing to do with collateral damage.

      AR15's are not legal, in MY state, for (legal) hunting, and neither are assault rifles.

      Yeah I dont use my millitary training as a crutch in these arguments since it isnt an argument for the effectiveness of the law itself. The 2nd amendment puts us within the US militaries problem list. If they choose to go against the people.
