So just a backstory: I'm 18, and I haven't seen my sister in over eight years who should be about 19 or 20, but I've loved her since I was ten years old on Christmas 1999... that was the first time i had ever met her. And its strange, I have a GF that i'm deeply in love with, but I still think of my sister in this way. Like I have to ask but... is this normal?

    It is known as GSA (genetic sexual attraction). Google it, or read about it on Wikipedia. It is quite a common thing to fantasize sexually about a family member you are not growing up with.

    This is obviously not normal, as incest really isn't normal. But, I have to say that this doesn't ever really end well. If you are in love with your sister she most likely does not feel the same way. And if she did, and you guys did get together, you would have to deal with other people for the rest of your lives. I know this isn't really all that possible, but I would say to try and focus on your girlfriend a bit more.

    If you have a GF concentrate on her. Even if yous havent ben raised together she will definately not feel the same way. I think this is just a way of coping with not being raised together and not really love even though you think it is
