    Thing is, as far as Trump and his fanatical core supporters are concerned, if the screwed-up American presidential election system goes against him the next time, it will all be due to crooks and swindlers. In what passes for Trump's mind, he simply can't lose.

    Trump and his supporters - including his congressional shills - have been constantly pushing the idea that the electoral system is phoney and the results are manipulated. That's far more dangerous than any of the other shit he's done. If people believe that their government has no legitimacy, it's a short trip to complete chaos.

      True enough.
      What amused me was him calling the economic news ' fake news '
      Until the day Obama left office.
      Then when the same economic reports came out.
      He touted them as proof of his greatness.
      Obama rescued us from the 08 crash from bush W.
      Clinton rescued us from reagan, bush recession.
      Whoever inherits the trump mess.
      They will really have their work cut out for them.
      By the time he's done, I fear this country is gonna be in bad shape.
      In a multitude of ways.
