If you'd said you were slowly chipping away at his arrogant refusal to acknowledge that you have a brain and his inability to see that you might smarter than him in some respects, I would have applauded you. But trying to destroy someone's belief in their value as a human being isn't something to be proud of.

But then maybe he's one of those fragile guys whose self-esteem depends on his belief that he's superior to others and women in particular. If that's the case, have fun. You might not be together for long, but he might at least find it an educational experience.
