Yes, this is bad because it is dictating your life. You can't sleep if you don't do crunches before bed? The difference between dedication and obsession is that obsessions are based in unrealistic goals. Honey, if you are taller than 5'3", a size two may not be a healthy goal.
If you lived a healthy and active lifestyle, you would not need to "exercise" to stay fit. Exercise would be part of your daily routine. Not something that prevents you from living. I don't walk to stay fit. I walk 3 miles to get home from work. I ride my bike 15-40 miles on the weekend because it is fun, not for "exercise." And I eat healthy food because it gives me the energy to sustain an active lifestyle. If I don't eat healthy, I can't play. And I like to play.
I agree. The problem is that it is controlling her life.
I also agree that eating healthy foods and using proper supplements is the best way to be able to sustains your lifestyle. I buy a lot of my supplements on NutritionLifestyles.com. It's a great site; just thought I'd share. :-)
