I tend to have that kind of crazy affection for Alan Rickman, although I can't quite put my finger on how that obsession emerged. Instinctively, I know that he's old enough to be my grandfather, but there's something about his voice and his mannerisms that just ooze sex appeal to me. It's fine to have a healthy obsession as long as it doesn't interfere with your outside life. If you want to love Eddie Vedder, more power to you. Just know when to harness that obsession.
