I cannot say that I've ever had that experience quite to such an extent before. I think I've had a few daydreams about Siouxsie Sioux, but that's as far as I ever got with celebrity obsessing.
You know, it is much easier to make someone likeable when we fill in all the blanks with our own imagination. It is why people can feel really enthralled with someone they've been talking to online, only to find they can't stand them once they meet in person. What I'm getting at, is that it's probably not really Eddie Vedder you're obsessed - that is, the REAL Eddie Vedder - but a figure you have made to be the ideal companion for yourself. You're able to keep obsessing because in all likelyhood, the illusion you have created can never be shattered as you're not likely to get to have the opportunity to know him, right. Focus on the relationship you have with real people around you, flaws and all.
