They sound like a couple that enjoys drama. Some people are like that; life is just an endless soap opera, with one phony, super-drammatic crisis after another. I can fully understand why you find this exhausting and exasperating.
Clearly, you can't make your parents grow up and finally decide what the hell it is they want from life and each other, and you can't stop them from living together (or from separating yet again).
You've got an obvious choice: either you figure out how you can live with your mother, or you figure out how you can live somewhere else.
Only you can decide which is best in terms of costs (of all sorts) and benefits.
