  • Eating disorders are psychological, not physiological. You don't have to be super skinny to have an eating disorder. Even people who are fat can have eating disorders. It might not be possible to diagnose a person like you with anorexia, but it might be "Eating disorder not otherwise specified" (EDNOS) which isn't much different.     Even if you don't think you have an eating disorder, please see a doctor, a therapist or some kind of specialist to be sure. When it comes to mental health it's better to be safe than sorry. Even if you aren't diagnosed with anorexia or EDNOS these people can still give you peace of mind and tailored information about eating disorders so you can protect yourself in the future, so it's impossible for it to be a waste of time.
