I did the same thing. Things were not working out in bed with my wife and I went to a girl in the local area and afterwards I found out that she was one of my kids kindergarten teachers!
Be wary of playing away too near to home unless you are going to confide in your wife. I felt she was having an affair at the time and i was angry, but now I'm sure she wasn't.
I didn't tell her about the girl, I think sometimes these things are best left as secrets.
