I think it's sort of normal. I used to be really different when I was younger. I remember feeling a lot more brave, and not as emotional either. Now that I'm older I've noticed how cautious I've become with almost every and anything, whether it's with what I say, how I act, what I do, etc. It's weird, but I think it happen's to some people. But I've never been scared to be in the company of my own family. If this get's too extreme, you should probably speak to someone. But you are still not alone.
