Why did he leave?
Did he announce his departure, or did he just up and leave one day?

Argh the seas were angry that night, I tells ya. A maelstrom the size of the moon whipped up in ye old Bermuda triangle and sucked him and his scurvy wench down 10,000 fathoms, yarrrr.
I'm not sure. When I joined, it was near the end of his appearance. The site was going crazy with funny fake accounts mocking his name, constant reporting of topics, and everyone accusing others as him under different accounts.
Every topic that seem interesting was 404'd in seconds, and IIN felt down even though the site was accessible. The best I can describe it was for that week or so was like going to your favorite park that would normally be quiet and peaceful with its occasional creepy homeless guy, was suddenly packed with people just blindly fighting each other while screaming at the top of their lungs.
However, as quickly as it started, it end when he disappeared.
ha... He did seem to be at the centre of a vortex there, I do remember it - as well as someone I'd rather not mention but who had a longbrutalusername (god I hope they're gone for good).
Anyway, thank you kindly... I suppose the seas did mysteriously swallow him whole

He likely still walks among us, under a different name. Not a fan of the guy myself, so I don't really care if that's what he's doing or if he's really gone. He's said good things and bad things like many other users that I have a neutral opinion towards.
