true, I think it's selfish to bring a child into the world that will have a high chance of being born with defects/disabilities due to incest. if you wanna date your cousin go ahead but don't bring a sick child into the whole mess
Fun fact: first generation incest children are no more likely to have issues than anybody else. Possible issues only arise through multiple generations, ie siblings having children together and then their children having children together. Even then, the risk is dramatically overstated to scare people off. Especially for cousins like the OP. You can never guarantee a healthy baby, but if there were any problems, it certainly wouldn’t be due to incest.
