    Here is my oppinion...
    I think it's normal you like your guy friend. And I really do hope the best for ya! You sound really nice, and a cool guy.
    Now if it were me, I would ask your friend what he thinks about guys liking guys. And if he gives a positive answer (like yes) then MAYBE give it a shot. Now a negative (no) then maybe try to find a different approach.

    I like this one guy, and he is bi. And while I'm straight, I have feelings for him, so maybe I'm bi also? But I don't know because I can't think about having a relationship with any other guy, but only him. But anyways again I hope the best for ya!
